Inquiry Project

I started researching my inquiry project and I just had some questions. From my understanding, we are not writing a paper. Right? The only thing we need to have is a one page handout (?) and something to show the class on presentation day. And what is a good amount of sources?? I found about 4 articles and I did 3 interviews so I think that would be enough but I am not sure.

I really enjoy these projects. I think we can all learn a lot from each others presentation and I am excited to see everyones!

Also, for the lesson plans for the LAP. Are we making up our own lessons or looking online for lessons?

The semester is almost over!!!

The Inquiry Projects do not culminate in a paper but you will have to convince me that you are an expert in the area you have chosen.

Also: you will be drafting your own lesson plans based on the information you gather about your student. What does that information tell you about where the student needs to go intelectually and how are you going to do that?

Nick, are you going to be telling us whether or not we will be able to research the question we emailed you? I do not want to start researching if I will not be able to use that question. Thanks :)

I am looking forward to hearing about everyone's topics for this project. I feel like I will be able to learn even more valuable information for me to use as a teacher. I learned a lot about my topic as well.

I think that the inquiry projects are a great way for us to learn more about topics that we will need to be informed about as educators. I'm kind of excited about seeing all of the different topics that people will pick. I hope it will answer some of the final questions that I might have about teaching before I leave the school of Education for student teaching.
